Sam Svoboda joined 3Points in February of 2014. As a content consultant, he helps 3Points clients execute a wide range of owned and social media projects. Along with providing copywriting and editing for various types of content, he also executes the firm’s video, photo, and analytics initiatives.
Sam attended Stanford University, where he majored in Urban Studies and minored in History. He spent four years writing and editing for The Stanford Daily, and then took a year-long position as the paper’s Advertising Manager upon graduating. Since then, he has worked in the Communications departments for Chicago’s Metropolitan Planning Council and the Chicago Fire Soccer Club, and spent half a year working and traveling through Australia.
A Chicago native, Sam enjoys playing crazy foreign sports: he co-founded Stanford’s hurling team in college, played multiple years with the Chicago Swans Australian football club, and recently joined the Innebandy Chicago floorball team. (Shuffleboard is somehow the most mainstream sport he plays.) He also serves on the associate board for the Pat Tillman Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to providing educational scholarships for military veterans and spouses.
